MATH requirements
MATH 1018 has been replaced
by MATH 1007.
The student success center is recommending MATH 1007 first, but MATH 1009 could be
taken first.
Considering the course description, MATH 1007 first would be more helpful.
If a student's MATH ACT is 16 to 18, the student must take a co-requisite MATH class
concurrently.
The co-requisite for MATH 1007 is MATH 1002 (1 cr)
The co-requisite for MATH 1009 is MATH 1000 (2 cr)
Once the first MATH and co-requisite are successfully completed, no further co-requisites
are required.
If a student's MATH ACT is below 16, they must take developmental MATH at another
institution such as Louisiana Delta Community College.
