Kevin Goins, BS, MBA

Kevin is a 1995 graduate of the ULM College of Pharmacy. Upon graduating from pharmacy school, he has worked in a variety of settings including as a pharmacy supervisor for Medco Health Services, CVS, and more recently Walmart. While he was a pharmacy manager at Walmart for years, he recently stepped down to be staff so he could pursue another passion in his spare time 鈥 speaking and coaching. Kevin says in the past few years as a speaker and coach he has presented material seen by over 70,000 audience members and leaders across international conferences, leadership events, summits and digital platforms, including: PowerHouse Speakers International Conference (via Zoom), Walmart Corporate Learning Event (live in Bentonville, AR), and Leadership Academy Indiana (live in Anderson, IN.)

He has appeared in numerous training videos and commercials for Walmart and has even done an interview with the legendary singer Patti LaBelle on the topic of Diabetes. You can view that interview .

In 2020, seeing a critical need for so many to pivot, Kevin launched the Client Building Academy (CBA). He says this platform is transforming lives and organizations by teaching leaders and teams how to genuinely and systematically sell hearts and minds on valuable missions, objectives, products and services. 鈥淭he CBA modules teach you how to build your message, streamline your process, set up systematic social media ads, and close high-tickets sales, while you work less, so you have time to live abundantly with those you love,鈥 said Kevin.

In his corporate career as a leader in pharmacy operations, Kevin says, 鈥淚鈥檝e contributed to growth, developed high-performance teams, and have served customers in leadership roles at CVS, Medco Health, Baylor Hospital, and most recently Walmart, where I support the mission of excellence and service to the community.鈥

Kevin has shared some inspirational messages and videos with ULM COP students over the past year to give them encouragement and help them push on towards success. One of the mottos he lives by and what he says has been a bedrock for opportunities that have come his way is this, 鈥淧eople don鈥檛 care HOW MUCH you know until they know HOW MUCH you care.鈥
