ULM lifts mask mandate

Based on recent guidance from the University of Louisiana System, the University of Louisiana MonroeÌýhas lifted theÌýmask mandateÌýforÌýthe ULM campus, effective immediately.

Ìý

The university will continue to monitor COVID-19 rates and may, if necessary, reinstate the mask mandate on campus.

Ìý

FacultyÌýhave the option toÌýrequireÌýmasks to be worn inÌýtheirÌýclassrooms. Students will be notified if masks are required inÌýcertainÌýclassrooms.

Ìý

The mask policyÌýandÌýCOVID-19ÌýprotocolsÌýremain forÌýstudents or employeesÌýwho have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19. This includes the requirement that masks must be worn for five days following a COVID-related quarantine. Students, faculty,Ìýstaff, and visitorsÌýare encouraged to protect themselves and others by wearing masks regardless of vaccination status.

Ìý

Free vaccinations areÌýavailable from the Louisiana National Guard from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays on the second floor of the SUB. Free testing from the National Guard is available daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Fridays on the second floor of the SUB.
